Christian Schumacher

Christian Schumacher joined the Deutsche Bundesbank in 2003. He was coordinator of the research group "Forecasting in Macroeconomics and Finance". In the Eurosystem, he acted as a Bundesbank representative in the Working Group on Econometric Modelling (WGEM). Since 2015, Christian Schumacher is Deputy Head of Research at the Research Center of the Deutsche Bundesbank. His research interests include forecasting, nowcasting, dynamic factor models with large data sets, and forecast pooling.
