Daniel O. Beltran has been an economics PhD student at the University of California Santa Cruz since September 2002. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Michigan in May of 1998, after which he worked as a financial consultant in Brazil. He is currently writing his dissertation on the design of simple monetary policy rules under model and parameter uncertainty.
