Ekkehard Ernst

Dr Ernst has been working in the Directorate General Economics at the ECB since July 2002, pricipally as project co-ordinator, specialising in the EU Evolution of sectoral specialization and speed of structural changes, the impact on business cycles and inflation and the consequences for monetary policy. He was previously with the OECD. Educated at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, Paris, he has a PhD in Economics.
