Juan Perez-Campanero

Managing Director, Santander Global Banking and Markets

Juan Perez-Campanero is an economist with graduate degrees in Economics from Universidad
Complutense de Madrid and The University of Chicago.

He has taught at several universities and business schools, and has been a financial instructor for the Bank of Spain internal training program. He has worked as an economist and consultant for multilateral agencies (The World Bank, IMF) and acted as director of the research foundation FEDEA. He is also sits on the advisory board of the main Spanish financial newspaper.

He has served in different capacities at several financial institutions (in economic research at J.P. Morgan, as head of financial markets for Caixa Galicia, a Spanish S&L) and for the last 14 years he has worked at Santander, where he is currently Managing Director at the Santander Global Banking & Markets Division, acting as chief economist for developed markets.
