Pavel Gertler
Research Economist, National Bank of Slovakia
Pavel Gertler has been working as Research Economist at the National Bank of Slovakia since 2003. Between 2009 and 2013 he has been seconded to the European Central Bank, Monetary Policy Strategy Division as a national expert. In 2014, he has returned to the National Bank of Slovakia as Head of Research Section.
He has received his PhD in 2009 from the University of Economics in Bratislava. His main research interests are in monetary economics and history, central bank communication, and financial stability.
