Stefano Di Colli

Economist, Federcasse Italian Association of Cooperative Credit Banks (BCC)

Stefano Di Colli is a Quantitative Economist at Federcasse, the Italian Association of Cooperative Credit Banks (BCC, since 2008) and Adjunct Professor in Statics for Finance at the University of Teramo (since 2005). He holds a PhD in Money Banking and Finance and a MA in Economics (Quantitative Methods) at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. During the academic year 2006-07, he has been Visiting Fellow at the ICMA centre, University of Reading (UK) where he worked with Alfonso Dufour. At Federcasse his field of interest includes Microeconomics of Banking and Applied Econometrics. There, he is working on an econometric model for Italian bank balance sheet variables at both national and regional level. In the past, he worked as Quantitative Economist for a Consulting Company (2008) and PhD Intern at the Financial Resilience Division, Financial Stability Area of the Bank of England (2007-2008). He received twice an "Outstanding distinction" mention at the Giorgio Mortara's Prize in Mathematics and Quantitative Methods for Finance of the Bank of Italy .
