Tara Sinclair

Associate Professor of Economics and International Affairs, The George Washington University

Tara M. Sinclair is an associate professor of economics and international affairs and co-director of the Research Program on Forecasting at the George Washington University. She completed her PhD in economics at Washington University in St. Louis in 2005. Her research interests focus on modeling, explaining, and forecasting business cycle fluctuations and economic growth for different countries. She contributes regularly to the Survey of Professional Forecasters and teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in macroeconomics and econometrics. She has been an academic visitor at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, and a visiting scholar at the St. Louis Federal Reserve. Before starting graduate school, she worked as a commercial real estate appraiser in Chicago.
