Ayhan Kose

Economist, IMF Research Department

Dr. Kose is currently an economist at the Research Department of the International Monetary Fund. His recent research examines the impact of globalization on the dynamics of business cycles and economic growth. His work has been published in numerous scholarly journals, including the American Economic Review, Journal of International Economics, and Journal of Development Economics. Dr. Kose received his PhD in Economics at the Henry B. Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa in 1997. Before joining the International Monetary Fund, he taught at Brandeis University as an Assistant Professor at the Brandeis International Business School.
