I am a Lecturer in Economics and Finance at Brunel University and a Visiting Fellow at the London School of Economics. Prior to joining Brunel University, I was a (Postdoctoral) Research Fellow at the LSE, where I worked under the supervision of Paul De Grauwe. Previously, I was an economist at the Euro Area Macro Division of the European Central Bank (ECB), and a consultant to the same Division.
I obtained a Ph.D. in International Economics / Applied Macroeconometrics from the University of Torino, Collegio Carlo Alberto, in 2011. During my studies, I further interned at the ECB's European Countries Division and at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), respectively in 2010 and 2009.
