Professor of Economics, Oesterreichische Nationalbank (OeNB)

I am a professor of empirical macroeconomics at the University of Salzburg, focusing on Bayesian time series econometrics and its applications in finance and macroeconomics. Prior to joining the University of Salzburg, I held an assistant professor position at the WU Vienna and was working as an economist in the foreign research division (AUSA) of the Oesterreichische Nationalbank (OeNB). Moreover, I am deputy director of the Salzburg Centre of European Union Studies (SCEUS), a scientific consultant to the OeNB as well as Associate Editor of Empirical Economics and International Economics.

My research has been published in international top journals such as the Journal of Business and Economic Statistics, the Journal of Applied Econometrics, the European Economic Review, the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, the Journal of the Royal Statistical Society: Series A, the Journal of International Money and Finance, the Oxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics, Economics
