Francesco Zollino

Senior Director at the Economic Outlook and Monetary Policy Directorate,

Francesco Zollino graduated from Bocconi University in 1989, earned a PhD in Economics at Pavia University (1994) and at Southampton University (2001); in 2000-01 he was a Visiting Fellow at Princeton University. Since 1994 he has been working as an Economist at Directorate General for Economics, Statistics and Research at the Bank of Italy, where he is currently a Senior Director serving as Deputy Head of the Economic Outlook and Monetary Policy Directorate. His research fields are: productivity and competitiveness, savings, housing markets, macroprudential policies and economic history.
