Georgios Sarantitis

My name is Georgios Sarantitis and I am a PhD student from northern Greece, currently in my fourth year. My PhD dissertation is titled "Complex Networks and Economic Growth" and it evolves in a multidisciplinary context where I apply network analysis tools and optimization techniques on issues of economic/macro-economic interest. The topics I have studied so far include -among others- European Business Cycle convergence, International Business Cycle synchronization, income inequality and CO2 emissions convergence. My research interests include monetary economics, international economics, macro-economics, complex networks, risk analysis and shock propagation.
