Gülserim Özcan

She is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Atılım University. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Bilkent University. During her Ph.D. studies, she worked as a Visiting Fellow at DIW, Berlin in Germany in 2014. She was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Economics at Bilkent University between 2007 and 2008. She served as an Economics Consultant at Republic of Turkey Ministry of Finance between December 2017 and May 2018. She published in the areas of macroeconomics, monetary economics and applied time series. Her current research focuses on estimating DSGE models with a special focus on model uncertainty for policy purposes; on the empirical investigation of microeconomic survey data for expectation formation.
