Javier J. Perez

Dr. Javier J. Perez is Principal Economist at the Directorate-General Economics of the European Central Bank. Previously he has held positions as Associate Professor at the Universidad Pablo de Olavide (Seville, Spain), Senior Research Officer at centrA (Regional Government of Andalusia, Seville, Spain), and Assistant Professor at the Universidad Complutense (Madrid, Spain). He earned a Ph D. in Economics from this latter University (2000, best Thesis in Economics Award).
