Jesus Crespo Cuaresma

Jesús Crespo Cuaresma obtained his Masters degree in Economics at the University of Sevilla (Spain) in 1997, completed the Program in Economics at the Institute for Advanced Studies (IHS) in Vienna in 1999 and obtained his PhD at the University of Vienna in 2002. He worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Advanced Studies from August 1999 to August 2000 and was appointed an assistant professor at the University of Vienna in September 2000. Since June 2005 he is an associate professor at the Department of Economics of the University of Vienna. He has published in academic journals such as the Oxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics, Journal of Forecasting, Journal of Comparative Economics, Economic Modelling and Empirical Economics, among others.
