Laura Coroneo

Laura Coroneo is Associate Professor in Economics at the Department of Economics and Related Studies (University of York), co-ordinator of the Centre for Applied Macro-Finance (University of York) and executive committee member of the Money, Macro and Finance (MMF) Society. Previously, she worked at the University of Manchester, the Bank of England and the European Central Bank. She holds a PhD in Economics from ECARES - Universite Libre de Bruxelles.

Her primary field of research is applied macro-finance, with a particular focus on econometrics and empirical finance. The bulk of her research concentrates on modelling the yield curve of government bonds and understanding its relation with macroeconomic fundamentals. She is also interested in forecast evaluation, monetary policy and financial econometrics.
