Mariarosaria Comunale

Principal economist, Bank of Lithuania (Lietuvos Bankas)

Mariarosaria Comunale is a Principal Research Economist at the Bank of Lithuania, Assistant Professor/Junior Researcher at Vilnius University, and Research Associate at the CAMA. She holds a Ph.D. in Money and Finance from the University of Rome Tor Vergata. She spent visiting periods as Ph.D. student/researcher at the EU Commission, University of Cambridge, Trinity College Dublin, ECB, De Nederlandsche Bank, and the OeNB. She was also ESCB-IO Economist at the ECB and published her works in the Journal of International Money and Finance, Scottish Journal of Political Economy, among others.

Comunale’s main area of research pertains to Applied International Macroeconomics, for analysis on EU integration, growth, macroeconomic imbalances, financial cycles, and Exchange Rate Pass-Through.
