Stephanos Papadamou

Stephanos Papadamou, was born in Thessaloniki, Greece, in 01/05/1974. He holds BSc. Applied Informatics in Economics from University of Macedonia of Thessaloniki, MSc. Project Analysis Finance and Investment from University of York UK, and a PhD on “Performance analysis of an international diversified portfolio composed by bonds, stocks and currencies” from University of Macedonia. His research interests are mainly focused on the economics of money and banking. During 1999-2003 he was CEO of the brokerage company Finaccor Analysis. He has a significant teaching experience on International Banking and Finance, Investment Appraisal, Monetary Theory and Policy and Portfolio Management courses. He speaks English and French. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor in Economics of Money & Banking, in the Department of Economics at the University of Thessaly. His work has been published in journals such as European Journal of Political Economy, Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, International Review of Economics and Finance, International Journal of Finance and Economics, Defence and Peace Economics, Managerial Finance, Applied Financial Economics, Applied Economic Letters, International Economic Journal, Research in International Business and Finance, International Journal of Monetary Economics and Finance.
