I am an Economist in the Monetary Policy Section at the Austrian National Bank (Oesterreichische Nationalbank, OeNB) with research focus on macroeconometrics, credit and business cycles, monetary policy issues, and non-linear models in economics. I hold a PhD in Economics, an MSc in Economics (Major: Mathematical Track), a BSc in Business, Economics and Social Sciences (Major: Economics), a BA in Anthropology and was the winner of the Young Economist Award (2018) by the Austrian Economic Association (NOeG) and of the Stefan Koren-Prize 2019. I was the principal investigator for a project about forecasting exchange rates in a unified econometric framework. Moreover, I was an assistant professor of Macroeconomics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (Vienna, Austria), served as a consultant for the United Nations Industrial Organisation (UNIDO) and was a visiting researcher at the Masaryk University (Brno, Czech Republic).
