Edoardo Gaffeo

I am an associate professor of economics at the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Trento, where I teach Advanced macroeconomics and Finance. I am the coordinator of MacFin, the macroeconomic and finance research group of the University of Trento.
Before joining the University of Trento, I taught at the University of Udine, and spent two years as economist at the Centro Studi Confindustria (Rome). I hold a PhD in economics from the Università Politecnica delle Marche, an MA in economics from the University of Reading, and a BA in economics from the University of Bologna.
My research currently focuses on behavioral macroeconomics, monetary and financial macroeconomics, agent-based modelling and macroeconometrics. My work has been published in several academic journals including Economics Letters, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Journal of Monetary Economics, Macroeconomic Dynamics and Quantitative Finance.
