This conference represents the 13th edition of the long-standing ECB Conference on Forecasting Techniques. It aims to discuss recent research on the use of machine learning and generative AI for forecasting and economic analysis, and for solving structural macroeconomic models. However, the scope of papers is not strictly limited to these topics and submissions from all areas of macro- and micro-econometrics are welcome.
Stephen Hansen (University College London) and Barbara Rossi (European University Institute) have confirmed their participation as keynote speakers.
Papers are to be submitted to https://editorialexpress.com/conference/CFT2026/ by 15, December 2025. For further information please see the call for papers on the ECB website.
