Dr. Zsolt Darvas

Zsolt Darvas is a Senior Fellow at Bruegel and a Senior Research Fellow at Corvinus University of Budapest. Before joining Bruegel in 2008, he served as Research Advisor at the Argenta Financial Research Group and Deputy Head of Research at the Central Bank of Hungary, and held visiting positions at several central banks and academic institutions. His research interests include macroeconomics, international economics, finance, EU governance, and social policy. His current work focuses on policy-relevant issues such as European economic governance, the EU budget, enlargement, income and wealth inequality, inclusive growth, and fiscal and monetary policy.
