Günter Coenen

Günter Coenen is Head of the Econometric Modelling Division in the Directorate General Research of the European Central Bank. Prior to joining the European Central Bank in July 1998, he worked as an economist at the Deutsche Bundesbank. He obtained a doctorate in economics from the University of Kiel in 1997. He has published in the Journal of Monetary Economics, the European Economic Review, the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, the Journal of Applied Econometrics and elsewhere.
